Internship Overview

The intern will split their responsibilities between the FYEG office and the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament. Responsibilities include:

FYEG Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and implementing events and projects, such as the 2024 annual work plan on youth activism and political engagement, and a joint study session on the green economy.
  • Participating in the planning and logistics for the 2025 year-long policy-making training.
  • Learning to plan international meetings and events, support volunteer teams, and manage logistics.

Greens/EFA Responsibilities:

  • Working within the Greens & Social Economy cluster.
  • Supporting advisors of the Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) and Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) committees.

Requirements

  • Education: Student or recent graduate with a recognized higher education degree.
  • Age: 18 or older at the start of the internship.
  • Commitment: No other internships or professional activities simultaneously.
  • Skills: Proficiency in English, good writing, and computer skills.
  • Availability: Potential to travel abroad (e.g., Azerbaijan or Hungary).
  • Interest: Non-formal education, project management, politics, and Green values.
  • Experience: Involvement in FYEG Member Organizations, structures, or partners is a plus.
