LESGO (Grassroots Lifesaving Outreach), is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting life in underserved communities through empowering residents to protect lives and the environment. Established in 2010 and incorporated in 2011 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), LESGO partners with government and relevant agencies to strengthen humanitarian law and uphold the dignity of mankind.
Position: Information, Communication Technology (ICT) Officer

Job Summary
As the ICT Officer at LESGO, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our technology infrastructure. From overseeing IT projects to managing social media platforms and graphic designs, you’ll ensure smooth operations across all digital aspects of our organization.
Responsibilities
IT Project Management and System Maintenance:
- Manage and maintain LESGO’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, websites, and hardware.
- Implement upgrades and improvements for enhanced efficiency and security.
- Configure and monitor network equipment to prevent unauthorized access and ensure data integrity.
- Provide technical support and assistance to users facing software-related issues.
- Implement security measures to protect IT infrastructure and data.
- Conduct training sessions for users on IT systems and tools.
- Collate and store organization data and reports on clouds for easy access.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Manage all social media platforms, creating engaging content tailored to each audience.
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
Graphic Designs:
- Conceptualize and design visual assets, including logos, brochures, social media graphics, and presentations.
- Collaborate with teams to create monthly info graphics and unique design ideas for special events.
- Maintain brand consistency across all design elements and communication channels.
- Stay updated on design trends and software tools for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or network administration.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and advertising tools.
- Proven experience as a graphic designer with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
